Here at The Heritage we’d be delighted to host any golfing event you may have in mind, so if you have a moment we would like to tell you why you should consider having yours here with us in Killenard. As the name suggests, our Ballesteros Championship Golf Course is a little piece of heaven created by golfing legend Seve Ballesteros and co-designed by renowned golf architect Jeff Howes. What’s more, ours is the only course in Ireland designed by the 5 time major winner and Ryder Cup hero. But why just take our word for how good it is…

Whatever the weather for your event, if it’s here at The Heritage you can be confident you’ll have a day to remember. Thanks to our limestone based course and excellent drainage systems we have never had to close the course due to rainfall. We’re also really easy to get to. The Heritage is located in the picturesque village of Killenard, just one hour south west of Dublin on the M7 (exit 14 or 15). And as well as a world class golf course, the resort also boasts world class facilities such as an on-site multi award winning Hotel & Spa, Luxury 2-bedroom Apartments, The Eddie Doyle Golf Academy operated by Eddie Doyle PGA Professional, The Thatch Traditional Irish Bar with Live Music every weekend as well as a 5km Walking Track that borders the 18-hole Championship course.
